Hello, I'm Jay Shells, born & raised in Queens, New York City. Influenced by various 90's graffiti artist and Hip Hop. Cultivated a style that was a fusion of my environment.  Growing up in the city there weren't many places to do "art". I had to work with what I had, which at the time & place were sharpie markers, spray cans and a few abandoned buildings. Have always been into designing & creating various types of artwork.  As I grew & nurtured my artistic hunger through school, black books, canvas, & paint it all culminated up into what is now called "graphic design". There was now a way to "vandalize" the world legally & leave art for the world to enjoy.

Would love to assist you & your team in taking your creative ideas & expanding them to a higher level that meets your creative needs. I tend to look at things from a different perspective. I have cartoons, movies and my wacky siblings to thank for artistic views & creative outlook on things that most don't see. I am quick learner and welcome all things I don't know how to do as a pleasant challenge. I originally learned the art of graphic design, self-taught through books, tutorials, and friends. If I don't know how to do something I see it as a challenge that I will overcome & conquer to the best of my abilities.
